The special-effects wizards at WETA have provided us with every nuance in the costume's dcor, from the runes forged into the blade of Aragorn's sword Anduril to the flourishes etched into the armor. Aragorn's chain mail is composed of hundreds of individual rings linked together, just like the genuine article, and his sword and dagger are both real metal.
